MSgt. Walter Herman Rosen, USAF, (Ret.)

MSgt. Walter Herman Rosen, 86, died on May 9, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a resident of Bonaventure Retirement community.

He was born on December 24, 1931 in Perham, Minnesota to John H. and Lucinda M. (Poppe) Rosen.

Walter was an Aircraft Mechanic and AC&W Radar Tech for the United States Air Force. He also attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Colorado Springs.

Walter is survived by his two sons, John B. Rosen and James W. (Lorice) Rosen; a daughter, Catherine (Gregory D.) Sheldon; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother; wife, Nancy L. (Hey) Rosen; sister, Mary Ann and brother, Edward.

Graveside Service, 1:15PM, Friday, May 25, 2018, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80236.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Walter's memory to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4125 Constitution Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
